Geometry feasibility audit

Show us the hardest file your current CAD chokes on.

€3,999 net, fixed price

The price stays the same whatever the effort turns out to be.

The full fee is credited against the project that follows the audit.

Three to four weeks

Work starts after a 30-minute call about the problem and the data. If the problem is not a fit, Object says so on that call and charges nothing.

A written verdict

The document states whether the problem can be solved and gives a price range for the full build, with the assumptions written down.

A clear no, with the reason, is a valid result.

What the verdict decides

Each part of the work lands in one of three categories, and each category is bought in its own way.

Fixed scope

The method is known and the effort is bounded. Object quotes this part at a fixed price.

Bounded risk

The problem is solvable, but the effort could vary widely. The price takes the form of a range, or the work is billed for time.

Research

No known method exists and the outcome is not guaranteed. The work is bought as a separate research stage with its own budget.

A client can start with the fixed-scope part alone and leave the rest for a later budget.

Where projects start

Object writes software and runs no machines. Production stays with the client and its suppliers.

3D product configurators

Each variant is built as a valid solid model. This suits products whose options change the geometry and do not fit a rule table.

CAD automation

Plugins and scripts produce the drawings and documentation that engineers would otherwise draw by hand.

CAD-ERP integration

CAD and CAM metadata go into the ERP or MES already in use, and the BOM reaches production without retyping.

Developers in the client's team

Software developers and computational designers join the client's engineering team and work to its backlog.

Case: [Klient: MDH]

Knee orthoses designed on a 3D scan of the patient's leg

[Klient: MDH] makes knee orthoses fitted to each patient. Object wrote a Rhino plugin that builds the orthosis on the leg scan from parameters the technician sets.

An orthosis design is ready about ten minutes after the scan is loaded. Modelled by hand in CAD, the same design took a full working day.

The method is described in a peer-reviewed paper in 3D Printing in Medicine (2026): https://doi.org/10.1186/s41205-026-00323-z

Start without a capex decision.

A fixed-price audit produces the technical scope your funding application needs.

The technical section

Object writes the technical section of a funding application from the scope the audit defined. The applicant files the application and remains responsible for it.

A discretionary budget

At €3,999 net, the audit is paid from a discretionary budget, without a capital request.
